Overall, we had a good time and will go back.Where can I have an animal encounter in Oklahoma? Yes, we could have moved but, we had already set up camp. Several workers walked by and noticed but, said nothing. One downside was we had a group of young 20 somethings next to us. We rented a tube to share but, you can bring in your own tubes. 2 of the slides were closed for maintenance. Don't try to sneak in food because they check your bag throughly! My kids loved the wave pool and spent most of their time there. Bring your own water bottles because they water filling stations. Food was crazy expensive we had 2 slices of pizza and a hamburger combo and it was 30.00. I would also recommend paying the extra for taking a cooler in. We got there about 10:30am we found chairs that were shaded. Plan on spending all day at the park, as there is plenty to keep you busy. It's undergone a lot of renovations since opening, and every year it gets better and better. We had a nice time with our 9 year old twins. Safari Joe's H20 Water Park is located at 4707 East 21st Street in Tulsa and opened in 2015 (formerly known as Big Splash). We visited Safari Joes for the first time last weekend. We were there about 4 hours and that was about all the time we needed. The slide needs to be repaired to it doesnt hurt anyone. We then later saw some people with the same red marks and they had been on this slide. Our friend went down it and it hurt him and left red marks. The water slides are older and the Green "Reptile Rush" needs to be re-surfaced. Five winners will each receive two free admission passes to be used at Safari Joe’s during the 2021 season. Most newer, nicer water parks, have the float rings that you can use anywhere and its much nicer and the customer isnt getting nickeled and dimed to death. For a family of 5, this adds up and then you have to keep up with the floatie. If you want a floatie for the lazy river, you have to rent one for $7.00. Also, they dont allow outside food or drinks, so we bought a water inside, but there's no where to refill the bottles. several of the stall doors dont close and the toilets have lids, so you have to use the bathroom, then close the lid of the toilet so you can flush. We had a fun time at this water park, but feel it could be better.
